Instead, let’s dive into the world of refreshing cider packaging that reminds us of our favorite autumn activities—from recklessly jumping into a pile of leaves, to scrutinizing a perfect red orb while apple picking at a charming orchard.
We saw some nice food packaging design among last year’s In-House Design Awards winners, from the in-house teams at Starbucks, PepsiCo and Marriott International. We present these designs below alongside a selection of beautiful food packaging design we’ve seen bouncing around lately.
Buried in the terms and conditions of a typical design competition will be clause stating that you surrender all your rights in any design you submit. So suppose that 1000 people enter a design competition. One of these folks is going to win, and they’ll probably receive some token payment for their effort, but 999 other designers are going to be turned away cold and hungry. (more…)

Eytan is a concept artist at Naughty Dog, the badass company that developed games like The Last of Us and the Uncharted series. He has made amazing concept pieces for these games, and some others as well. He’s got an amazing style, really worth checking out.
