Dallas brewery Noble Rey approached us to design the initial run of their four flagship beers: Off the Leash, Baracus, Golden Rey and Steampunk. Our initial vision was to craft an illustrated persona for each brew, but the real estate on cans is slim and Texas beer coolers are overcrowded. (more…)
“Filia” – meaning daughter in Latin, is a culmination of a life long passion for the Paardeberg. The Paardeberg (or horse mountain) was named by the first European settlers to the Swartland, due to the abundance of Quaggas (Cape Mountain Zebra) that roamed its fynbos thicket covered granite slopes. Bonza is an Australian expression that describes the feeling that spread through the body before you exclaim “hurray!”. Something is bonza if it is superb and amazing, but at the same time laid back and relaxed. People and places can be bonza. This wine is. Therefore, it was namned The Great Bonza. (more…)
Masa asked us to redesign their take away bags, since the old ones had become a bit generic. With the new bags we wanted to draw attention on the street. In Masa the product is the brand. So we always want to show the product. In the bags that’s impossible, so we used a photo and talk about it: if there is bread, we are ok! (more…)

Jugen is a brand specializing in health foods, especially juices made from all-natural ingredients and super foods. Since Jugen’s products are created with the purpose to cleanse, heal, and detoxify the body, our design proposal takes inspiration from ancient herbal medicine bottles. (more…)
Slice is a wavy fries well known in southern Brazil. Very consumed in the local market, the product has a good quality, but the drapery always presented less than this quality. The new proposal eliminated the confusing visual information from the previous design, and added a position “for those who do not stop.”. (more…)
This is a project for a ice cream identity and package family for kids. It was a final college project created for the Graphic Design Project class in the College of Arts and Design Caldas da Rainha (ESAD.CR), Portugal. The faces and expressions interact with the kids by showing how fun and delicious it is to eat ice cream and turn the package into a collectible and reusable fun object for kids. (more…)
The Best Awards is an annual celebration of interactive, graphic, product and spacial design work from New Zealand and Australia, run by The Designer’s Institute. This year’s event will take place on Friday 14th October at Auckland’s Viaduct Events Centre where winning studios will be awarded a Gold Pin for best in category, a Supreme Pin for best in discipline or a Purple Pin for those considered to have lifted the bar of design. One of the reasons I got to design was because of posters, especially movie posters. It was part of my childhood going to the movies and while waiting checking the posters of the upcoming movies. I see a lot of that style for poster design coming back now because the 80s are again very trendy, the new Netflix show Stranger Things is a great example. (more…)
